The Supermarket

Our supermarket in Shigamani Village was inaugurated in July 2025. It is now fully operating, offering a variety of items that meet the community’s needs, while also providing a better environment and excellent customer service. At the same time, we are creating jobs for people within the village, reducing the need for them to seek employment outside of Shigamani.

Entrepreneurship is a mindset we are cultivating here, as businesses in this area are typically not run by individuals from the villages. By empowering them, we help build confidence in their ability to achieve self-sustainability.

Why a supermarket? There were very few supermarket options in Shigamani and the surrounding villages. The existing ones were usually small, lacked variety, and offered poor customer service. This forced residents to travel long distances to larger cities to get what they needed.
